By Car:

Approaching from the M5 leave at J27 and take the A361 North Devon Link Road towards Barnstaple.

On the outskirts of Barnstaple turn left at a roundabout onto the A39 to Bideford and Bude.

After crossing over the River Torridge, continue straight over the next two roundabouts towards Bude.

Follow the A39 to Clovelly Cross roundabout, continue straight over and take the next turning right onto the B3248 signposted to Hartland.  Continue along this road for about 1.5 miles turning right at Lighthouse Cross signposted to Hartland Point and Lighthouse.

After 2.4 miles you come to Youltree Cross crossroads, go straight over the cross road towards Hartland Quay and take the second turning on the left after about 0.8 of a mile signposted to Cheristow – you will find us on the right-hand side after about a quarter of a mile.

From Hartland:

Follow signs to Stoke/Hartland Quay for about 1 mile.  Turn right after the first bridge, signposted Berry and Lighthouse.  At the top of the hill, bear right and take the next right to Cheristow – you will find us on the right-hand side after about a quarter of a mile.

By Air: Exeter approximately 90 minutes by car or Bristol approximately 2 hours

By Train: Tiverton Parkway – Barnstaple – St. David’s Exeter

By Walking or Public Transport

For those of you who wish to travel by your own steam we can arrangement to pick up at any reasonable point. The local bus 319 starts from Barnstaple Bus Station and goes to Bideford, Woolsery, Clovelly and then to Hartland. By arrangement we can pick up from Hartland, Bideford or Barnstaple or any other point along this route. There are also coaches that go to Bideford and Bideford Bay.
