Port Isaac
The Village of Port Isaac, was frequently used as a ‘set’ for filming the Poldark series, and ‘Nightmare Man’ where it was beautifully depicted albeit as a village in the Hebrides! More recently the Port Isaac has become associated with the TV series ‘Doc Martin’ ( in which Port Isaac was tranformed into the fictional Port Wenn) and the Film ‘ Saving Grace’.

A once grand seaside resort and port there is still much to see at Ilfracombe. The Tunnel Beaches, the Aquarium and the Wildlife and Dinosaur Park at Combe Martin have all been recommended by visitors this year. And now we have Verity – love it or confused! Damien Hurst has added a must see to the town.
