Facilities at Cheristow Cottages...
For families
Cheristow is perfect for old-fashioned family holidays. Go rock-pooling, fly a kite, build a den… The peninsula has a remote feel and families can simply relax and enjoy the surroundings. All cottages have local information and a copy of tide times for planning trips to sandy beaches. Or head for the nearby Milky Way Adventure Park & Wake Aqua Park; The Big Sheep Amusement Park is another 15 minutes’ drive. We live in the farmhouse and are happy to advise on places to go and things to do.
Spa
The Spa room with its hot tub and sauna is generally available at Christmas/ New Year and from Easter to October half term, at no extra charge. Do ask about other times
The Spa Room is shared between all cottages – simply book it for private use
Play/Picnic Area
This area has a climbing frame, swings, picnic tables, plenty of space, countryside and sea views.
The Granary and the Milking Parlour have gardens adjoining the play/picnic area.
Children using the play area must be supervised.
Feeding the animals...
Children are welcome to come and help feed our chickens and ducks each morning.
Wellies and clothes that don't mind a bit of mud may be useful...
