Safe Spaces for Your Four-Legged Friend
One of the concerns for dog owners on holiday is ensuring their pet has space to exercise and relax. At Cheristow Farm Cottages, there are enclosed, directly accessible, outdoor areas for three of our dog-friendly holiday cottages and direct access to footpaths from the no through road that leads to the cottages
The Granary
The Granary has a charming, small, enclosed garden area, perfect for small and larger dogs. Old stone walls border each side, wooden picket fencing to the south-facing front completes the enclosure. There’s direct access through French doors from the cottage living room, stunning views across fields to the distant sea, and space around to exercise and play safely.
The Milking Parlour
Our single-storey Milking Parlour, has attractive small enclosed outdoor area, just through the French doors from the living room. This easy accessibility makes it perfect for older dogs or those with mobility concerns. A wooden picket fence fronts the terraced area with its lovely country views to the Atlantic sea beyond.
The Stables
The Stables has a small, enclosed and sheltered outdoor area – part of the former farmyard – which is great for small to medium-sized dogs. There’s outdoor seating for owners to relax with their dog.
The Linhay
The Linhay has an unenclosed outdoor sitting area, on part of the former farmyard. So it’s for those dog owners who are happy to take their pets directly out on the lead to explore the surrounding coastal countryside.
The Tack Room
Our little studio cottage has space for just one small dog. There is outdoor seating but no enclosed area so it’s for owners happy to take their pets out on the lead to explore the surrounding coastal countryside.
