Our Dog Welcome Policy & Guidelines

View our policy for our dog friendly holiday cottages at Cheristow, Hartland Peninsula

At Cheristow Farm Cottages, we understand that your dog is an integral part of your family. We welcome well-behaved dogs in our 5 dog-friendly holiday cottages. Up to 2 dogs are welcome in 4 cottages, The Tack Room has space for just 1 small, orderly dog;

The Orchard and The Dairy cottages are for those who prefer pet-free environments.

All dogs must be well-behaved; house-trained and well-socialised. They are not allowed on the furniture or on the beds but you’re welcome to bring your own bedding if that’s what you and your dog prefer (just let us know). Dogs should be kept on leads in communal areas around the cottages and we ask, of course, that you clean up after your dog both on our property and on walks. Dogs shouldn’t be left unattended in cottages for extended periods, and any damage caused by pets will be charged to the guest.

We have dogs ourselves so can generally help with things dog-related: lend a lead or a dog towel, provide water bowls and recommendations for nearby vets and local pet supply shops.

Booking Your Dog-Friendly Stay

When booking, please let us know how many dogs you’ll be bringing and their sizes. Our dog supplement is £25 per dog, per stay.
